Trekking Itinerary

Day 01:
After your breakfast transfer to the domestic airport, and fly to Lukla (2800m) about 35 minutes with enjoying whole mountain views on north side Annapurna to Everest. So better to choose the left side seat in the plane. And meet your Staffs and porters who will be waiting there and stop for a break in the Lodge have a cup of tea, coffee and trek starts with your staffs to Phakding (2640m) Overnight.

This day Descend to Chaurikharka valley from Lukla and straight/flat continue through the Chomlo, Tharokoshi, Ghat zigzag up and down with right side Kushumkhang and opposite Kongde Ridge and Left side DudhKoshi valley river view. It is first day very nice Journey and on the way lunch break in Ghat and get to Phakding.

Day 02: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3446m). Overnight.
This day the trial crosses and re-crosses the Dudhkoshi through the villages of Benkyar, monjo, and Jorshalle then climbs steeply 600m. To the market town of Namche Enjoy Saturday market there.

Day 03: Rest day in Namche Bazaar for Acclimatization.
This day rest for acclimatize and sightseeing around there. First sight seeing Namchebazar and walk up hill to Sagarmatha national park museum on the hill in side the house and out side this is one of the best viewing point for Khumbu valley and Mt. Everest, Lohtse, Nuptse, Thamsherku, Kusumkhang, Khangteka, Amadablem, Island peak, Touche, Cholache and backside Kongde RI, Tenggiritau, Nup lhoshar, pacharmo, Tengi Ragitau, Langmocheri, seeing very nice panoramic view and Sagarmatha national park museum and back to lodge/camp.

Day 04: Trek to PHORTSE THANGHKA (3500m).
From Namche first climb up to hills about half an hour and take right flat way up to SANASA. From SANASA there is 2 way right is to EBC and Left is to Gokyo Ri, take left way and climb upto MONGLA DANDA (3900m) from there descend all the way to PHORTSE THANGHKA.

Day 05: Trek to DOLE (3960m).
After breakfast start walking first gently up through the forest,enjoy the waterfall on the way. Trails become more ascent and finally you will get Dole.

Day 06: Trek to MACHHERMA: (4470m.)
A gradual ascent through birch woods with fine views of kangtega and the distant yak pastures of Gyele. Fairly easy going, high on the West Bank of Dudh koshi Overnight at lodge nearby the yak pastures.

Day 07: GOKYO: (4790M)
Rougher going up a rocky gulch beside the snout of the great Ngozumbo Glacier eventually is leading to a series of beautiful lakes. Overnight at Lodge.

Day 08:
Rest day or Explore Gokyo RI – 3 hours to climb the summit for rewarding views, Makalu, Cho oyu, MT. Everest, Barunche, and many others all round mountains.

Day 09: THANGNAK (4950M.)
Descend to the second lake below Gokyo Lake below Gokyo, then cross the glacier through a tangle of morraines. Lunch at the yak pastures at chhugyuma on the eastern edges of the glacier steep ascent in the afternoon up a degerted valley below the south Cho-la Overnight at 4950m.

Day 10: DZONGLA (4830M.)
Boulder fields and a steep but easy snow slope lead in two hours to the summit of the south cho-la pass (5420m.) a flat glacier plateau with magnificent views to east and west. Descend the snow –covered glacier to a beautiful glen at Dzonghla.

Day 11: LOBUCHE (4910M.)
Contour the steep, grassy hillside above the blue Cho la Lake and round a corner into the khumbu valley.

Day 12: GORAKSHEP (5240m)
Early in the morning after tea and breakfast start walking to Gorakshep with pack lunch and from Gorakshep Hike Everest base camp (5357m) this day walking through Moraines and glaciers and get back to Gorakshep, stay overnight there.

Day 13:
Next early morning after having tea hike to Kalapathaar top (5545m) and back to Gorakshep have breakfast then start to descend all the way to DINGBOUCHE(4410m), and overnight there.

Day 14: TENGBOUCHE (3900m).
Easy walk down the IMJA khola to PANGBOUCHE then a short climb to this famous Tengbouche monastery.

Day 15: NAMCHE (3446M.)
Down the Dudh koshi, phunggu thyangga and a climb up to the shanasha from here slide down to the namche bazaar have a look at Saturday market from early morning to until 2 o’ clock afternoon.

Day 16: LUKLA (2800M.)
Continue down the Dudh koshi to the mountain airstrip.

Day 17: KATHMANDU.
Am. Fly to k.t.m.30 minute. After returning to Kathmandu rest and free day.
