Trekking Itinerary

Day 01: From Kathmandu to (JEERI)190 km by bus
you can See from on the way Gaurishankar, Rolbaling, and many other peaks, mountain views and many different caste, village and people. But it takes 9 to 10 hrs to get to Jeeri. Jeeri is located at the height of 1860m from sea level. we will prepare pack lunch especially for you, we will order it from hotel because if the food on the way by bus is not good then you may have stomach problem. you have to stay in Jeeri in lodge over night we will take Dinner there.

Day 02: In morning about 7 o'clock you have to take Break-fast and after Break fast trekking starts from Jeeri you have to climb slide up about 2 hours on the way there is thin forest and some villages then you get to Mali Danda which is very nice view point from there you can see mountain, villages and nice valley views. from here you follow down hill to Shivalaya one and half hour. Shivalaya is in Khimti river side. To get to Shivalaya you have to cross suspension Bridge. Shivalaya is a simple town with Newar and sherpa people. You will take lunch here and after lunch you should start climbing first there is steep up about 1hrs and slide up about 1 and half hour and you get to KHASHRUBAS you will stay here in Lodge from here you can see valley views its height is about 2500m.

Day 03: Khashru bash to Sete (2580m) 7 hours walk.

Day 04: Sete to Junbesi (2670m) 6 1/2 hours walk.

Day 05: Junbesi to Nunthala (2330m) 6 hours walk.

Day 06: Nunthala to Kharikhola (2040m) 6 hours walk.

Day 07: PUIYA (2785M.)
A cross the kharikhola the trail climbs steeply about (600m.) to kharte at (2575m.) crosses a Ramite and climbs abruptly to the pass at kharitham at (2990m.) Descend almost (205m.) on a loose rocky trial to reach PUIYA in about 2 hours from the pass.

Day 08: PHAKDING (2610M.)
Descend to Dudh koshi passing through surkya about 2 ½ hours from puiya then cross the stream and commence a long climb over the northern ridge to reach Muse in an hour and chauri kharka Just 15 minutes beyond with phakding 2 hours from here.

Day 09: NAMCHE BAZAR (3440M)
The trial crosses and re-crosses the Dudh kopshi through the villages of Benkyar, monjo, and Jorshalle then climbs steeply 600m. To the market town of Namche Enjoy Saturday market there.

Day 10: Rest day. Our sight seeing Namche bazar and about ½ hour walk up hill to sagarmatha national park museum in side the house out side this is one of the viewing point for Khumbu valley and Mt. Everest, lhotse, Nuptse, Thamsherku, Kusumkhang, khangteka, Amadablam, Islanpeak, Touché, cholache and backside kongde RI, Tenggiritau, Nup lho shar, pacharmo, Tengi Ragitau, Langmocheri, seeing very nice panoramik view.

Day 11: KHUMJUNG:3780m
up hill 1 and half hour is up hill to get syangbuche, this is a best view point of west and south valley, from here to get Khumjung 1 ½ hours.

Day 12: Rest day at Khumjung.
Our sight seeing in Khumjung very old Buddhist temple, Khunde hospital and the best view point Everest view hotel visit.

Day 13: MACHHERMA: (4470m.)
A gradual ascent through birch woods with fine views of kangtega and the distant yak pastures of Gyele.fairly easy going, high on the West Bank of Dudh koshi Overnight at lodge nearby the yak pastures (14500’)

Day 14: GOKYO: (4790M)
Rougher going up a rocky gulch beside the snout of the great Ngozumbo Glacier eventually is leading to a series of beautiful lakes. Overnight at Gokyo Lake.

Day 15: Rest day or Explore Gokyo RI –three hours to climb the summit for rewarding views, Makalu, chhoyou and others all round mountains.


Day 16: THANGNAK (4950M.)
Descend to the second lake below Gokyo Lake below Gokyo, then cross the glacier through a tangle of morraines. Lunch at the yak pastures at chhugyuma on the eastern edges of the glacier steep ascent in the after noon up a deserted valley below the south Cho-la Overnight at 4950m.

Day 17: DZONGLA (4830M.)
Boulder fields and a steep but easy snow slope lead in two hours to the summit of the south cho-la pass (5380m.) a flat glacier plateau with magnificent views to east and west. Descend the snow –covered glacier to a beautiful glen at Dzonghla.

Day 18: GORAK SHEP (5150M.) 6 hours trek to gorakshep.

Day 19: Excursion to Everest base camp (5400m) and kalapatther (5550m) for magnificent views of the major eastern Himalayan peaks including Everest .Return to Gorakshep. 8 hours walk.

Day 20: DINGBOCHE (4410M.)
Back down the moraine and slowly losing altitude, reach pheriche.A climb Over the ridge past chortens and mani walls leads to the chhukung valley and the prosperous village of dingboche.

Day 21: CHHUKUNG,4730m. up hill to get chhukung 3 hours and you can have lunch here and after lunch excursion to :around the valley and over night in Himalayan Hotel in chhukung.

Day 22: DINGBOCHE: 4410m in early morning start to go chhukung RI about 3 hours to get there and you enjoy the nice view, very close to the mountain and glacier./ and back to chhukung and Dingboche.

Day 23: TENGBUCHE:3900m
Easy walk down the imja khola to pangboche then a short climb to this famous monastery.

Day 24: NAMCHE (3440M.)
Down the Dudh koshi, phunggu thyangga and a climb up to the shanasha from here slide down to the namche bazaar have look Saturday market from early morning to until½ clock afternoon.

Day 25: LUKLA (2800M.)
Continue down the Dudh koshi to the mountain airstrip.

Day 26: KATHMANDU
30 minutes flight to Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel (Hotel Traditional) . o/n hotel.

THE COST FOR THIS TREK (for Lodge trek):
1) For 2 to 5 Pax US$ 910 per person.
2) For 6 to 10 Pax US$ 850 per person.

Includes in the above cost are:
